Let us begin by first saying: congratulations! This is such a special time of life, and no doubt the coming year will be filled with amazing experiences and precious moment as you welcome a new little one into your family. We are so excited and incredibly honored that you are considering booking your newborn session with us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect your newborn photography experience to be easy, relaxed, and fun. Our goal with each session is to make things as seamless as possible on you. The days following a birth can be a whirlwind of activity and emotions – so think of your newborn session as a time to slow down and savoir some quiet moments with your baby.
We also believe that when you hire a photographer, it should be someone who you connect with and feel comfortable with – so that is what we strive for.
WHY BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION
When you have a new baby of your own, your whole world changes. The phrase “moments are fleeting” takes on a new meaning, as you begin to understand just how quickly time passes with your precious little one. Babies change and grow so quickly – especially in those early days of their life.
Booking a newborn session will help you capture these moments in time- moments that you will never get back. These are more than just photographs, these are pieces of artwork for your family that will frown in value. It brings us so much joy to know that you and your children will be able to look back and treasure these memories in the years to come.
WHEN TO BOOK
Our schedule is typically full 2 -3 months in advance, so please get in touch with us as soon as possible to book us as your newborn photographer.
As soon as you have had your first appointment with you doctor and have a due date, then give us a call and let’s get you on the Calendar!
We can shoot your newborn session as soon as you are ready, as our lifestyle shoots are a lot more relaxed then most posed studio session’s we can arrange your shoot anywhere between 5 days only to 1 month.
As we get closer to your due date, we will be in touch and then once baby arrives, I will have you and your partner call or text us to let us know. So that we can get a finalised date and time on the calendar for your newborn session.
LOCATION
Your Newborn session will take place in the comfort of your own home. I’ve been told many times by parents that they appreciate this so much. In the first few weeks after baby is born, it can be hard to leave the house and get everyone ready for a photo shoot. Because the shoot takes place in your own home environment, you will be more relaxed and able to enjoy the experience. As we will be taking images in your bedroom, nursery and lounge room, please remember to keep these area’s clean and clutter free.
